THE PLACE WHERE I SING!

Home is where the magic of life grows, it is the place I cherish and hold sacred, it is from there that I am able to build a strong foundation for whatever I choose to do in life. Home is not the physical place it is the warmth in the heart, the hugs, the smiles, the place where love abounds and circulates, it is the place I nurture my lulu and support my best friend and partner, it is the place where God whispers to me when I feel down and congratulates me when I feel spirited, it is the place where everything makes sense and the place where i sing!

We are magnificent creatures powerful and redemptive...our souls play with pain and turn it around to work in our favor...our minds create every single moment and thing in our lives...our hearts beat and keep us alive...our souls inspire both ourselves and others...our journeys take us back to where we belong...into the arms of the wind...into spirit...

it is so simple to remind ourselves of the wonder of life as the sun sets in the late afternoon...on this day where the sun is peeking from behind the trees there is so much love and beauty...there is so much around us to make us stress out and make life seem difficult...it can become heavy and overloaded with dispair...it is so simple to remind ourselves of the wonder of life...like that sunset in the late afternoon...it can lift the burden of self created hardship...it can remind us to live lite...live in the light...live with a bright heart...live free...and elegantly...simply live life...in love!

as i live my life from moment to moment i know the only way for me to exist with an ample heart is to keep living creatively...even when things seem trying or when i feel like my back is against the wall...

i came up with this design because my focus at present is being thankful for my own attributes...being proud of who i am and what i have accomplished...i think every single person in the world is absolutely perfect...we just have to remind ourselves of this simple fact...anyway things are actually pretty great...i've been extremely focused and organized...i've been taking lulu out to play groups and such lately, i think it is sooooooo important for her to express herself around others and form her own independent views...she has such a great time being around people...she is a charm...she is my jewel...remember to take a few seconds each day to pat yourself on the back for who you are!!

I SURVIVED HURRICANE DEAN!

So it was the first sunday after we arrived in jamaica for our long awaited vacation and behold hurricane Dean became a category 4 heading our way...frightened isn't a good enough word for my feelings as we waited in my fathers boarded up house for it to either roll over the island or pass by us out to sea...well!! we survived and are back home very very thankful...the full story is to come with more pictures and full detail of the experience!!
